That trip unit gives you L (long-time overload), S (short-time short-circuit), I (instantaneous short-circuit), and R (earth-leakage) protection in one package — no separate ground-fault relay needed for the distribution board. At 480 V AC it still holds 50 kA under UL 60947-4-1, so it crosses over into North American motor-circuit applications.
