The C10N47E100 is a Schneider Electric ComPacT NSX100N moulded-case circuit breaker with a MicroLogic 7.2 E electronic trip unit, rated 100 A at 40 °C. At 415 V AC the breaking capacity is still 50 kA Icu, which covers most European industrial distribution panels. The trip unit offers L (long-time overload), S (short-time short-circuit), I (instantaneous short-circuit), and R (earth-leakage) protection — a full four-quadrant electronic trip that lets you coordinate selectivity downstream without sacrificing speed on hard faults. The LCD display and energy-metering capability (time-stamped histories, demand values, power quality) mean this breaker doubles as a panel-level power monitor, reducing the need for separate metering hardware.

What the durability numbers tell you
Mechanical durability is 50,000 cycles; electrical durability ranges from 50,000 cycles at 440 V at half rated current down to 10,000 cycles at 690 V at full rated current. For a distribution breaker that sees infrequent switching (unlike a contactor), these numbers are generous — the mechanical life will outlast the panel's service life in most installations.
