Overview
The C10W36E100 is a Schneider ComPacT NSX molded case circuit breaker rated 100 A continuous with a 100 kA interrupting capacity at 690 V AC, fitted with a MicroLogic 6.2 E electronic trip unit providing LSI/G protection (long-time, short-time, instantaneous, ground fault). The trip unit includes an LCD display for metering and event logging, and the breaker carries EN/IEC 60947-2 compliance with a Class II front face.
Selection and sizing
The 100 kA ICu at 690 V AC suits high-fault-current distribution panels where a standard 85 kA frame would require upstream fusing or a larger transformer — the C10W36E100 handles the full fault without coordination add-ons. Compared to the C10F3TM025 (85 kA ICu, 25 A fixed thermal-magnetic), the C10W36E100 delivers 100 kA ICu and 100 A adjustable electronic protection, making it the right choice for a main feeder or large subfeed where selectivity and metering are required.
