The Schneider Electric C113100BS is a ComPacT NSXm 100NA switch disconnector, 3-pole, rated 100 A in both AC-22A and AC-23A utilisation categories at 690 V AC.
The 100 A rating at AC-22A (resistive/mixed loads) and AC-23A (motor loads including switching of motors or other highly inductive loads) means this disconnector handles motor starting duty up to 100 A — not just resistive heating or lighting. The short-time withstand current (Icw) of 1500 A for 1 s tells you it can ride through a fault long enough for an upstream breaker to clear, without welding contacts. The making capacity (Icm) of 2.13 kA alone, or 150 kA with an upstream circuit breaker, means coordination with a proper breaker is expected for high-fault installations. Class II double-insulation means no earth connection is required on the device itself.
Fixed-mount design: snaps onto 35 mm symmetrical DIN rail or bolts to a backplate. The 81 mm width and 137 mm height fit standard distribution panel cutouts. Connection pitch is 27 mm. Terminals accept crimp lugs from 2.5 up to 120 mm² (copper or aluminium) or busbar connectors — no special adapter needed for larger feeds. IP40 front-face protection (IK07 impact) suits enclosed panel installation where tools or debris might strike the toggle. The toggle control gives a clear visual and tactile break confirmation.
