The Schneider Electric C114100LS is a ComPacT NSXm 100NA switch disconnector, 4 poles, rated 100 A in both AC-22 and AC-23 utilisation categories at 440 V AC 50/60 Hz. It is suited for isolation per EN/IEC 60947-3, with a visible break indicator and toggle control. The 100 A thermal current (Ith) at 40 °C means it handles full-rated resistive and moderately inductive loads without derating in a 40 °C panel ambient.
Ratings and fit
Rated operational current is 100 A in both AC-22 (switching mixed resistive and inductive loads, including moderate overloads) and AC-23 (switching motors or other highly inductive loads). That 100 A holds at 440 V AC — no derating needed for the voltage step. Short-time withstand (Icw) is 1500 A for 1 s or 3 s, and 335 A for 20 s, which covers downstream fault clearing coordination. Short-circuit making capacity (Icm) is 2.13 kA as a stand-alone switch-disconnector, or 150 kA with an upstream protection circuit breaker — so it can be paired with a fast-acting breaker upstream for high-fault-current installations. Insulation coordination: rated impulse withstand voltage (Uimp) 8 kV, pollution degree 3 per IEC 60664-1, rated insulation voltage (Ui) 800 V AC. That puts it in the standard industrial panel category — no special creepage or clearance needed for most 400 V distribution.
Mounting and environment
Mounts on 35 mm symmetrical DIN rail or a backplate. Fixed mounting mode, 108 mm wide, 137 mm tall, 80 mm deep — fits a standard 4-pole disconnector footprint. Connection pitch 27 mm, terminals accept EverLink lugs: 2.5…70 mm² flexible copper, or 2.5…95 mm² rigid/stranded aluminium/copper. IP40 front face, IK07 impact resistance. Operating temperature -25…70 °C, storage -50…85 °C.
