Panel fit and the rating that decides the BOM line
The C11B34V100B is a Schneider Electric ComPacT NSXm 3-pole MCCB rated 100 A at 40 °C with a MicroLogic 4.1 electronic trip unit. The integrated earth-leakage protection with selectable sensitivity from 30 mA to 5 A (Class A and AC) eliminates the need for a separate RCCB, saving a module of DIN space in the distribution board. Mounting is backplate, not DIN rail — the 9-module pitch (9 x 18 mm = 162 mm) and 108 mm width mean it occupies the same footprint as a standard NSXm breaker, so a panel layout already cut for that family swaps in without re-drilling. Connection is front-facing via compression lugs or busbars; the 35 mm pitch with spreaders (27 mm without) matches common busbar systems. Operating altitude 2000 m without derating covers most installations; above that, derate per the curve.
That matters for motor-starting or transformer-inrush applications where repeated reclosing can damage windings. Electrical durability: 20,000 cycles at 440 V at rated current (In/2), 10,000 cycles at full In. That is typical for a distribution breaker — not a switching device, but enough for normal isolation and fault-clearing duty over the panel life. Mechanical durability matches at 20,000 cycles. IK07 impact resistance handles accidental hammer strikes during installation.
Earth-leakage integration — one less module to spec
The integrated earth-leakage protection covers both Class A (pulsating DC) and Class AC (sinusoidal AC) fault types, with sensitivity selectable from 30 mA to 5 A. That range lets the same breaker serve both personnel protection (30 mA) and equipment protection (300 mA to 5 A) depending on the circuit. No external RCCB or add-on module needed — one part number, one wiring step.
Mounting and connection details
Compression lug or busbar connection; the 35 mm pitch with spreaders (27 mm without) matches standard 35 mm busbar systems. The grey RAL 7016 colour is the standard NSXm finish.
