Category A utilisation means it's not intended for current-limiting duty in series with other breakers — it's a standalone distribution breaker, not a backup device. Mounts on a backplate (not DIN rail), 108 mm wide × 137 mm high × 80 mm deep — that's 12 module pitches at 9 mm. The front-facing Everlink terminals accept 2.5 to 95 mm² rigid aluminium/copper or 2.5 to 70 mm² flexible copper, so it handles the full range of distribution cable sizes without adaptors.
Mounting position is flexible — horizontal, vertical, or flat on the back. Connection pitch is 35 mm with spreaders, 27 mm without — plan your busbar or cable lugs accordingly. Wire range covers 2.5 to 95 mm² for rigid aluminium or copper, and 2.5 to 70 mm² for flexible copper — that's enough for the 80 A rating on standard distribution cable. No earth-leakage protection built in; if you need RCD functionality, add an external module or specify a different variant. Electrical durability is 20,000 cycles at 440 V at half rated current, and 10,000 cycles at full rated current. Mechanical durability is also 20,000 cycles. For a distribution breaker that's rarely switched under load, that's more than adequate — but if you're using it as a disconnect switch that cycles daily, keep the cycle count in mind.
