The Schneider Electric C11F34V100L is a ComPacT NSXm MCCB rated 100 A at 40 °C, 3-pole, with a 36 kA interrupting capacity at 415 V AC (performance level F). It uses an electronic MicroLogic 4.1 trip unit and integrates earth-leakage protection — so this single device handles both overcurrent and ground-fault detection in a distribution panel.
For a panel that runs hotter — say 50 °C — you derate per the manufacturer's curve; the electronic trip unit compensates thermally with a 20-minute memory before and after tripping, so nuisance trips on a warm restart are less likely. If upstream fault current exceeds this, a current-limiting device is needed. Integrated earth-leakage protection means the breaker itself includes a residual-current detection coil — no separate RCCB needed. Sensitivity is selectable from 30 mA up to 5 A, for class A or class AC waveforms. For a petrochemical environment where you need to protect against both sinusoidal and pulsating DC fault currents, class A (30 mA to 1 A) is the right choice; class AC covers sinusoidal only.
Overvoltage category IV — suitable for main distribution boards at the service entrance. IP40 front face, IK07 impact resistance. The grey RAL 7016 finish is standard for the ComPacT range.
