It sits in the ComPacT family, Schneider's compact panelboard and sub-distribution range, and carries the MicroLogic 4.1 electronic trip unit rated 25 A at 40 °C. The earth-leakage protection is built in, not a bolt-on accessory. Sensitivity is selectable: 30 mA, 100 mA, 300 mA, 500 mA, 1 A, 3 A, and 5 A, for both class A and class AC residual current types.
Trip unit and protection logic
The MicroLogic 4.1 is an electronic trip unit — not thermal-magnetic — so it holds its trip curve more consistently across ambient temperature swings than a bimetal design. That means if the breaker trips on an overload and you re-close it within 20 minutes, the memory retains the thermal history and reduces the allowable time before a second trip. Useful for motor-starting applications where repeated start attempts could overheat the cable without the memory function. Plan coordination accordingly.
Mounts on a backplate, not a DIN rail — this is a bolted-down MCCB for panel mounting. It accepts front-connect wiring on both line and load sides. The Everlink terminals take 2.5–95 mm² rigid or stranded aluminium/copper on the line side, and 2.5–70 mm² fine-stranded copper on the load side. Connection pitch is 35 mm with spreaders, 27 mm without. That pitch matters for busbar take-off points: if you are feeding this from a vertical busbar stack, the 35 mm centres with spreaders match standard distribution block spacing. Pollution degree 3 means it is rated for conductive pollution environments — typical in industrial control panels where dust and humidity are present. IP40 front face, IK07 impact resistance.
