What the 70 kA breaking capacity means for your panel
The C11H6TM025L is a 4-pole ComPacT NSXm MCCB rated 25 A at 40 °C with a high-performance (H) breaking capacity of 70 kA at 415 V AC. It carries a Category A utilisation rating, meaning it is not intended for current-limiting coordination with downstream breakers in a cascaded scheme; selectivity must be engineered at the system level.
Trip unit and terminal fit
The fixed TM-D thermal-magnetic trip unit provides inverse-time overload protection (thermal bimetal) and instantaneous short-circuit protection (magnetic coil). At 25 A and 40 °C ambient, no derating is needed for most panel environments up to that temperature. The Everlink terminals accept copper or aluminium conductors from 2.5 to 95 mm² (rigid/stranded) and flexible copper up to 70 mm² — a wide enough range to handle both feed-through and downstream tap conductors without lug adapters. Connection pitch is 35 mm with spreaders, 27 mm without; the 12-module 9 mm pitch width (108 mm) occupies standard DIN-rail or backplate mounting.
Integration and environmental limits
Operating altitude is 2000 m without derating, 5000 m with derating — relevant for high-altitude installations where air density reduces arc-quenching effectiveness.
