The 4P configuration (three phases plus switched neutral) suits it for three-phase distribution where the neutral must be protected or isolated alongside the phases. The thermal-magnetic trip curve (TM-D) provides overload protection via the thermal bimetal and short-circuit protection via the magnetic coil.
Deployment context
Mounts on a backplate via the 9-module pitch (12 modules wide at 9 mm each = 108 mm width). Front-connect terminals on both line and load sides — Everlink lugs accept 2.5 to 95 mm² rigid or stranded Al/Cu, or 2.5 to 70 mm² flexible copper. The 35 mm connection pitch with spreaders (27 mm without) matches standard DIN-rail terminal spacing for panel wiring. Suitability for isolation is certified per IEC 60947-2, so the breaker can serve as a disconnecting means for the downstream circuit. The toggle control and green flag indicator for auxiliary-contact presence give visual status without opening the panel door.
