The Schneider Electric C12E44V160B is a 4-pole ComPacT NSXm moulded-case circuit breaker rated 160 A at 40 °C, with a 16 kA interrupting capacity at 415 V AC (performance level E). It carries an electronic MicroLogic 4.1 trip unit that integrates earth-leakage protection — selectable sensitivity from 30 mA to 5 A, class A or AC — so you can cover both overcurrent and ground-fault in one device without an add-on module. The 108 mm width and 144 mm height fit a 12-module pitch at 9 mm per module, so it occupies a predictable footprint in a standard panel layout.
Trip unit and protection detail
Earth-leakage sensitivity is field-selectable across 30 mA, 100 mA, 300 mA, 500 mA, 1 A, 3 A, and 5 A for class A (pulsating DC) and class AC (sinusoidal AC) faults. This range lets you tune the ground-fault threshold to the load — 30 mA for personnel protection on a lighting subfeed, 300 mA or higher for equipment protection on a motor circuit.
Front-connect terminals accept compression lugs or busbars. Connection pitch is 35 mm with spreaders, 27 mm without. Auxiliary contact presence is indicated by a green flag on the front face. IP40 enclosure protection and IK07 impact resistance are standard for the panel environment.
