The C12N34V160L is a Schneider Electric ComPacT NSXm earth leakage circuit breaker with a MicroLogic 4.1 electronic trip unit, rated 160 A at 40 °C and a breaking capacity of 50 kA at 415 V AC (performance level N). It's a 3-pole unit in a grey (RAL 7016) enclosure, 9 module pitches wide, designed for distribution applications where both overcurrent and earth-leakage protection are needed in one device.
That's a lot of functionality in one DIN-rail footprint — saves panel space and wiring compared to a separate RCD.
Mounts on a backplate (not a DIN rail — this is a bolted breaker). The enclosure is 144 mm high, 108 mm wide, 80 mm deep, and takes up 9 module pitches. Connection is front-facing on both line and load sides, with EverLink lugs that accept 2.5 to 95 mm² rigid or stranded copper/aluminum. It can be mounted horizontally or vertically flat on the back.
Overvoltage category IV (suitable for main distribution panels), IP40 protection (finger-safe, not washdown), and IK07 impact resistance. The integrated earth-leakage protection covers both class A (pulsating DC) and class AC (sinusoidal AC) fault currents, with sensitivity settings from 30 mA to 5 A — that covers most personnel and equipment protection requirements in industrial and commercial installations.
