The Schneider Electric C160N35AFM is a ComPacT NS new generation molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) from the NS630b…1600 range, rated 1600 A at 50 °C with a MicroLogic 5.0 A electronic trip unit.
The 85 kA Icu at 220/240 V AC and 50 kA at 380/415 V AC (both per IEC 60947-2) mean this breaker can safely interrupt fault currents up to those levels without welding or rupturing. At 690 V the Icu is still 30 kA, covering most industrial line-to-line faults. The MicroLogic 5.0 A electronic trip unit provides LSI protection: long-time (L) for overload, short-time (S) for short-circuit with adjustable delay, and instantaneous (I). The thermal memory of 20 minutes prevents nuisance reclosing on a hot conductor. Category B utilisation confirms it is suitable for selectivity with upstream breakers.
