The Schneider Electric C16F2TM125 is a ComPacT NSX160F fixed-mount circuit breaker, 2-pole, with a TM-D thermal-magnetic trip unit rated 125 A at 40 °C. It belongs to the ComPacT NSX family, the modular molded-case line that replaced the older Compact NS series on most BOMs.
At 220/240 V AC the breaker clears 36 kA; at 440 V it drops to 15 kA, and at 690 V to 5 kA. On DC, 36 kA at 250 V DC (1 pole) and 36 kA at 500 V DC (2 poles in series). The 125 A TM-D trip provides L (thermal overload) and I (magnetic short-circuit) protection — no earth-leakage module. For a 125 A feeder on a 415 V system, this breaker coordinates downstream with 63 A or 100 A NSX breakers using the manufacturer's selectivity tables.
Fixed-mount on a backplate, 70 mm wide, 161 mm high, 86 mm deep. Front-connect for both line and load. IP40 enclosure protection, IK07 impact resistance. Rated for 0 to 2000 m altitude without derating, 2000 to 5000 m with derating. 0 to 95 % relative humidity.
Endurance and dissipation
Mechanical durability: 20,000 cycles. Electrical durability: 20,000 cycles at 277 V at half rated current, 10,000 cycles at full rated current. Power dissipation per pole is 10.78 W — useful for thermal calculations in a sealed enclosure.
