It is a 4-pole unit with an electronic MicroLogic 4.2 trip unit that provides overload (L), short-time short-circuit (So), instantaneous short-circuit (I), and earth-leakage (R) protection. The breaking capacity reaches 100 kA Icu at 240 V AC and 70 kA Icu at 415 V AC, per EN/IEC 60947-2. This places it in the high-breaking-capacity tier for distribution panels where fault currents can exceed 50 kA.
The electronic trip unit allows adjustable long-time pickup and delay, short-time pickup and delay, and instantaneous pickup — critical for coordinating with downstream breakers and avoiding nuisance trips on motor inrush or transformer energisation. The 100 kA Icu at 240 V AC means the breaker can safely interrupt a fault current up to 100 kA without welding contacts or rupturing the case; at 415 V AC the Icu is 70 kA, still sufficient for most industrial distribution boards. The earth-leakage protection is integrated into the trip unit, so no external RCD module is needed — saves panel space and wiring.
This MCCB is designed for distribution applications — main or feeder breaker in switchboards, panelboards, or motor control centres. The front-facing connections (upside and downside) simplify busbar or cable terminations in a panel. IP40 protection means it is suitable for indoor, dry environments; IK07 impact resistance handles accidental tool strikes during maintenance.
