The C16N32D160 is a ComPacT NSX160N three-pole circuit breaker with a MicroLogic 2.2 electronic trip unit rated 160 A at 40 °C. For a distribution panel fed by a transformer in the 500–1000 kVA range, that 50 kA at 415 V gives you solid headroom for most industrial services. The trip unit provides L (long-time overload), So (short-time short-circuit with fixed delay), and I (instantaneous) protection — the electronic curve is adjustable, so you can coordinate selectively with downstream breakers.
Mounts on a backplate — screw-mount, not DIN rail. The 105 mm width, 161 mm height, and 86 mm depth fit standard ComPacT NSX cutouts. Front connections top and bottom with a 35 mm connection pitch. IP40 enclosure protection means it's fine in a clean panel; IK07 impact resistance handles accidental tool drops during maintenance.
