The 4-pole configuration (4P) with neutral left position suits distribution panels where full phase and neutral protection is required. That is an N-frame rating (50 kA at 415 V), which puts it in the middle of the NSX160 family — enough for most industrial distribution boards fed by a 1 MVA transformer, but not for high-fault substations where you would step up to an S or H frame. At 480 V AC the UL rating is also 50 kA Icu, so it crosses over cleanly into North American installations. The TM-D trip unit is fixed thermal-magnetic — no electronic adjustment, no interchangeable rating plugs. That means the 80 A setting is permanent; if you need a different amp rating later, you swap the whole breaker, not just the trip unit. For a fixed-load distribution board this is fine; for a panel that may be retasked, consider the electronic Micrologic version.
Front connections top and bottom simplify busbar and cable routing in a standard distribution panel. IP40 enclosure protection means it is suited for clean indoor panels — not for washdown or outdoor cabinets without an additional enclosure.
