The Schneider Electric C25N32D250 is a ComPacT NSX250N 3-pole moulded-case circuit breaker rated 250 A at 40 °C, fitted with a MicroLogic 2.2 electronic trip unit. The 2.2 provides L (long-time overload), So (short-time short-circuit with fixed delay), and I (instantaneous short-circuit) protection — the So curve is what sets it apart from a basic thermal-magnetic breaker: it coordinates with downstream devices in a selective distribution scheme, letting a fault on a branch trip the branch breaker without dropping the main. The 50 kA Icu at 415 V AC (IEC 60947-2) means it can safely interrupt a fault current up to that level at common industrial voltages; at 690 V the same breaker still holds 10 kA Icu, useful for 690 V distribution in mining or heavy process plants.
