The Schneider Electric C25V36E100 is a ComPacT NSX moulded-case circuit breaker rated 100 A at 40 °C with a MicroLogic 6.2 E electronic trip unit. The 6.2 E provides L (long-time overload), S (short-time short-circuit), I (instantaneous), and G (ground-fault) protection — the G channel is the key differentiator from the 2.2 or 5.2 trip units, making this breaker suited for applications where ground-fault coordination is required, such as distribution panels feeding sensitive loads or sub-distribution in commercial buildings.
Breaking capacity and selectivity headroom
The HB1 breaking capacity code delivers 85 kA Icu at 500 V AC, 80 kA at 525 V, and 75 kA at 690 V, all per IEC 60947-2. The 75 kA at 690 V is useful for 690 V distribution systems common in mining, marine, and heavy industrial installations.
Mounts on a backplate in horizontal or vertical orientation. IP40 enclosure protection and IK07 impact rating suit panel installation where occasional front-panel access is needed. The 35 mm connection pitch matches standard busbar and cable-lug spacing. Front-connect terminals on both line and load sides simplify busbar run and cable dressing within the enclosure.
Trip unit and metering capability
The MicroLogic 6.2 E includes an energy meter function and communicates instantaneous and demand values, demand current and power, maximeters/minimeters, power quality data, protection and alarm settings, energy metering, time-stamped histories, event tables, and maintenance indicators. The LCD display provides local readout of these values without needing a separate power meter.
Environmental and durability
Electrical durability is 20,000 cycles at 440 V at half-rated current, 10,000 cycles at full rated current, and 5,000 cycles at 690 V full current. Relative humidity range 0–95%.
