The C4044A400 is a MicroLogic 4.3 AL electronic trip unit for the ComPacT NSX400...630 range, rated 400 A at 40 °C. It is a 4-pole unit with integrated earth-leakage protection (Class A) and LSoI protection functions: long-time overload (L), short-time short-circuit with fixed delay (So), and instantaneous short-circuit (I). The kit is complete — the trip unit ships with the electronic module, the rotary switch for earth-leakage sensitivity adjustment, and the neutral protection settings configurable for 3D + N/2, 4D, or 3D. No holes in the box.

The long-time pickup (Ir) is adjustable from 160 to 400 A, so you can dial it down to match a downstream load without swapping the trip unit. The short-time pickup (Isd) adjusts from 1.5 to 10 × Ir, giving you coordination flexibility for selective tripping with downstream breakers. Instantaneous pickup (Ii) is fixed at 4800 A — that is the hard floor for clearing high-fault currents.
