Trip unit for ComPacT NSX — MicroLogic 7.3 E AL, 400 A, 4P
The Schneider Electric C4047A400 is a MicroLogic 7.3 E AL electronic trip unit for the ComPacT NSX400...630 range, rated 400 A at 40 °C in a 4-pole (4P) form factor. It provides LSI protection — long-time (L), short-time (S), and instantaneous (I) — plus integrated earth-leakage protection (Class A). The LCD display shows energy metering, protection settings, event logs, and demand values. Designed for distribution applications, it complies with EN/IEC 60947-2.
The long-time pickup (Ir) is adjustable from 160 to 400 A, so you can dial it down to match a smaller load without swapping the trip unit. Short-time protection (Isd) is also adjustable, with delay settings from 0 to 0.4 s (I²t on or off). Instantaneous pickup (Ii) is adjustable as well. The 4-pole configuration supports 3D + N/2, 4D, or 3D neutral protection modes. The integrated earth-leakage protection (Class A) can be switched off via the IΔn rotary switch.
This trip unit mounts into a fixed-mount ComPacT NSX400...630 circuit breaker (left-hand neutral position). The LCD display and LED indicators (green ready, red overload at 105% Ir, orange overload at 90% Ir) give local status without opening the panel door.
