The Schneider Electric C40F32M320 is a ComPacT NSX400F moulded-case circuit breaker, 3-pole, rated 320 A at 65 °C. It is built for motor protection — the MicroLogic 2.3 M electronic trip unit provides L (long-time overload), So (short-time short-circuit with fixed delay), and I (instantaneous short-circuit) protection curves, with motor tripping classes 5, 10, and 20 selectable. Breaking capacity is 40 kA Icu at 240 V AC, 36 kA at 415 V, and 10 kA at 690 V AC per IEC 60947-2. Under UL 60947-4-1, it delivers 85 kA at 240 V and 35 kA at 480 V. That SCCR headroom means it clears faults without cascading upstream in most industrial distribution panels.
Mounts on a backplate, accepts front connections top and bottom. Connection pitch is 45 mm. IP40 front face, IK07 impact rating. The breaker can be mounted horizontally or vertically flat on the back. Six accessory slots are available for aux contacts, shunt trips, or under-voltage releases.
Rated for 0 to 95 % relative humidity, operating altitude up to 2000 m without derating (2000 to 5000 m with derating).
