Overview
The CAD506FD is a Schneider TeSys Deca control relay with 5 normally-open (NO) contacts, rated for control circuits up to 690 V. It uses a 110 VDC standard coil and terminates via lugs-ring terminals. The relay carries certifications to EN/IEC 60947-5-1, UL 60947-5-1, CSA C22.2 No 60947-5-1, GB/T 14048.5, and JIS C8201-5-1, with an IP2X front face per VDE 0106.
Function & operation
The five NO contacts switch control loads in AC-14, AC-15, and DC-13 utilization categories — covering solenoid valves, contactor coils, and small motor starters. The IP2X front face provides finger-safe protection inside the panel.
Applications
This relay is used in motor control centers, conveyor systems, and packaging lines where multiple independent control signals must be switched from a single coil. It fits within the TeSys Deca range alongside contactors and overload relays.
