It carries five normally-open (5 NO) poles, rated for utilisation categories AC-15, AC-14, and DC-13 — so it handles solenoid valves, contactor coils, and similar inductive loads in control logic, not motor power. The coil is a 440 V AC standard type, and the relay is rated for operational voltages up to 690 V. Snap-in terminals simplify panel wiring — no separate screw-clamp torque check during commissioning.
Operating temperature spans -40 to 60 °C, with derating required above 60 °C up to the 70 °C ceiling. Storage range is wider at -60 to 80 °C. The relay is TH-treated per IEC 60068 for tropical environments, and it's rated for operation up to 3000 m altitude without further derating. Mechanical robustness is specified: the relay withstands 10 Gn shocks for 11 ms in the open state and 15 Gn closed, plus vibration of 2 Gn (open) and 4 Gn (closed) across 5–300 Hz per IEC 60068-2-27 and IEC 60068-2-6.
The CAD50AR7 is certified to EN/IEC 60947-5-1, UL 60947-5-1, CSA C22.2 No 60947-5-1, GB/T 14048.5, and JIS C8201-5-1 — covering the main global control-circuit standards for North America, Europe, China, and Japan.
