It carries utilisation categories AC-15, AC-14, and DC-13, which means it is rated for electromagnetic loads like contactor coils (AC-15) and resistive/inductive DC loads (DC-13) — the ratings that govern real-world switching life, not just the maximum voltage. The relay uses snap-in terminals for panel wiring and is rated IP2X on the front face per VDE 0106, so it provides basic finger-probe protection on the panel door. Storage range is -60 to 80 °C.
The CAD50AS7 is certified to EN/IEC 60947-5-1, UL 60947-5-1, CSA C22.2 No 60947-5-1, GB/T 14048.5, and JIS C8201-5-1. These are the control-circuit switching standards that cover its rated operational voltage, making the relay accepted in IEC, UL, CSA, Chinese (GB), and Japanese (JIS) jurisdictions without additional qualification.
Mechanical robustness
The relay withstands 10 Gn shocks for 11 ms in the open state and 15 Gn for 11 ms in the closed state per IEC 60068-2-27. Vibration resistance is 2 Gn (5–300 Hz) open and 4 Gn (5–300 Hz) closed per IEC 60068-2-6. These ratings matter for applications mounted on machinery or in panels subject to transport or process vibration — the contacts stay where they are supposed to.
Integration notes
The 5 NO contact arrangement gives you five independent control-circuit switching paths from one coil; useful for distributed control schemes where a single relay must signal multiple PLC inputs or contactor coils.
