The Schneider Electric CAE40M6 is an Easy TeSys Control relay from the CAE series, configured with 4 normally-open (4 NO) poles and a 220 V AC coil. It's a control-circuit relay rated for operational voltages up to 690 V, designed for switching loads in AC-14 and AC-15 utilisation categories — meaning it handles electromagnetic loads like contactor coils and solenoid valves, not heavy motor currents. It carries IP2X finger protection per IEC 60529, so it's intended for installation inside an enclosed panel where direct contact is limited. The relay is rated for operation from -20 to 70 °C and can be stored from -60 to 80 °C, with no derating required up to 3000 m altitude. Mechanical robustness is specified at 7 Gn shock when open and 10 Gn when closed, with vibration resistance up to 3 Gn at 5-300 Hz in the closed position.

The CAE40M6 measures 45 mm wide, 74 mm high, and 80 mm deep, in a grey (RAL 7011) housing. The 4 NO contact arrangement is clearly marked on the device face for quick wiring verification.
