The DOM11230SNI is a Schneider Electric Domae miniature circuit breaker — a 2-pole unit rated 6 A with a C-curve trip characteristic and 4.5 kA breaking capacity at 230 V AC.
The 6 A rated current (In) sets the continuous load it can carry without tripping — sized for a branch circuit feeding lighting or small appliance loads, not motor or high-inrush gear. The C-curve means the magnetic trip fires at 5 to 10 times In (30–60 A), so it holds through moderate inrush from fluorescent ballasts or small transformers but clears a hard short fast. The 4.5 kA breaking capacity at 230 V AC is the maximum prospective fault current it can safely interrupt — adequate for most residential and light commercial panels where the available fault current stays under that level, but undersized for industrial switchboards with higher SCCR requirements.
