Compared to the DPE40BD, the DPE50U7 delivers a higher switching current (80.0 A vs 60.0 A) and higher horsepower (30 hp vs 25 hp), making it the correct choice when the motor load exceeds 25 hp or requires the full 80 A continuous rating.
