The DPE65B7 is a 3-pole contactor from Schneider Electric's Easy TeSys DPE range, rated for 65 A operational current in AC-3 duty and 80 A in AC-1. It switches motor loads up to 40 HP at 480 V AC and handles resistive loads as well, with a 24 V AC 50/60 Hz coil. The power circuit is rated for 690 V insulation voltage (IEC) and 600 V (cUL), with an impulse withstand voltage of 6 kV.
Mounts on a rail or plate. The power circuit accepts screw connections for cables from 2.5 mm² up to 25 mm² (flexible with or without cable end, or solid). Control circuit wiring uses screw clamp terminals for 1 to 4 mm² flexible or solid. Tightening torque for power connections is 7 N·m for the larger terminal and 5 N·m for the smaller; control circuit terminals torque to 1.7 N·m. Dimensions are 4.8 in (122 mm) deep, 2.2 in (55 mm) wide, and 4.8 in (122 mm) tall.
