Product details

The Schneider Electric ENW12701 is a Trip System 6.0s control unit for the EasyPact NW range of air circuit breakers. It provides LSIG protection — overload (long-time), short-time short-circuit, instantaneous short-circuit, and earth fault — via a microprocessor-based trip unit rated 630…6300 A. That means it coordinates with the breaker's interrupting capacity under fault conditions up to that voltage.

Protection and adjustment detail

Long-time pick-up (Ir) adjusts from 0.4 to 1 x In in 10 steps, with a delay (Tr) from 0.5 to 24 s at 6 x Ir (accuracy 0 to -20 %). Short-time pick-up (Isd) also offers 10 settings, delay (Tsd) from 100 to 600 ms. Instantaneous pick-up (Ii) covers 2 to 15 x In, accuracy ±10 %, also adjustable in 10 steps. Ground-fault pick-up has 10 settings. Thermal memory is included, so the trip unit accounts for prior heating when re-energizing after a trip — critical for motor and transformer feeders where repeated overloads degrade insulation faster than a single event.

Physical integration and connectivity

Dimensions: 200 mm high, 58 mm wide, 77 mm deep. Fixed mounting mode. The neutral position is left; pole configurations available are 4P and 3P, with protected poles configurable as 3D, 3D + N/2, or 4D. Neutral protection can be set to without protection (3D), 0.5 x Ir (3D + N/2), or 1 x Ir (4D). Communication via NFC wireless peer-to-peer and USB Type-C interface. Status is indicated by a green, red, and orange health status bar plus a green ready LED. Fault indication covers short-circuit, overload, earth fault, and internal fault. Control button is a single I button with LED indication. Data recording includes alarm logs, event logs, and trip logs — useful for post-event analysis without needing external software. Battery type is lithium non-rechargeable, which powers the trip unit's memory and clock during de-energized periods.

This control unit is designed for industrial standard circuit breaker applications. It is a component of the EasyPact NW family, which covers air breakers from 630 A up to 6300 A.
