What this switch disconnector delivers
The Schneider Electric ENW13276 is a 3-pole switch disconnector from the EasyPact NW range, rated for 1250 A in AC-23A duty at 440 V AC. AC-23A covers switching of motor loads and other highly inductive circuits — so this part handles the inrush and breaking demands of large motors, transformers, or distribution feeders where the load isn't purely resistive. It is certified for isolation per IEC 60947-3, with a visible contact position indicator.
Fault-handling and durability
Rated short-time withstand current (Icw) is 50 kA for 1 second at 220–440 V, and the short-circuit making capacity (Icm) reaches 75 kA at the same voltage range. That means the disconnector can close onto a fault and hold through a downstream short-circuit until upstream protection clears it — essential for selectivity in a distribution panel. Electrical durability under AC-23A at 440 V is 5000 cycles without maintenance. For a load-break switch these are service-life figures that govern inspection intervals in the maintenance plan.
Fixed mounting on a rail base plate. The connection pitch is 70 mm without spreader, and connections are rear-located, vertical or horizontal orientation. Panel builders should account for the 276 mm width and 301 mm height when laying out the enclosure; depth is 196 mm. IP30 protection means the disconnector is guarded against tools and wires over 2.5 mm but not sealed against dust ingress — install inside a switchboard or enclosure.
