The ENW15512 is a closing coil in the Schneider Electric EasyPact NW range, device short name XF. It's the electrically operated coil that pulls in the main contacts when you apply control voltage — no manual lever, no motor operator, just a maintained signal to close and hold. Rated 220/250 V AC/DC at 50/60 Hz, so it works on either supply without a separate rectifier or DC-DC converter. That dual-rated control voltage simplifies panel wiring — one coil part number covers both the AC control transformer and the DC battery-backed bus common in switchgear. Inrush power hits 200 VA (or 200 W) for 200 ms to overcome the magnetic gap and spring load. Once the armature seats, holding power drops to 4.5 VA or 4.5 W — about 20 mA at 220 V DC. It replaces or upgrades the existing closing coil in the NW frame without modifying the breaker's main pole assembly or arc chamber. Response time is 70 ms across the entire EasyPact MVS current range (100 A through 4000 A), which means the coil's mechanical stroke and magnetic circuit are consistent regardless of the breaker frame size.
