Product details

What this Trip System 5.0E does in the panel

The ENW21416 is a microprocessor-based control unit for Schneider Electric's EasyPact NW range of drawout air circuit breakers. It gives you LSI protection — long-time overload, short-time delay, and instantaneous short-circuit — plus earth-fault, overload, internal-fault, and short-circuit indication on the digital display. The trip unit rating spans 800 to 4000 A, so it covers the main incoming or large feeder positions in a standard industrial 690 V AC distribution board. Drawout mounting means you can rack the breaker out for maintenance or swap the trip unit without killing the bus.

Protection curves and selectivity — what the settings let you do

The long-time pickup (Ir) is adjustable from 0.4 to 1.0 x In across nine settings, and the long-time delay (Tr) at 6 x Ir runs from 0.5 to 24 seconds with a -0 to -20% accuracy band. That gives you enough range to coordinate with downstream MCCBs and still clear a bolted fault fast. Short-time pickup (Isd) adjusts from 1.5 to 10 x Ir in nine steps, with a delay (Tsd) from 100 to 400 ms in five settings — critical for zone-selective interlocking (ZSI) schemes where you want the fault-clearing breaker closest to the fault to trip first. Instantaneous pickup (Ii) goes from 2 to 15 x In, also nine settings, and you can switch it Off for full selectivity on high-fault installations.

The control unit measures 200 mm high, 55 mm wide, and 75 mm deep. Neutral position is on the left. Protected-pole configurations cover 3D, 4D, and 3D + N/2, with neutral protection settings for no protection (3D), 0.5 x Ir (3D + N/2), or 1 x Ir (4D).

Frequently asked questions

Where can I buy ENW21416 and how do I get a price?

The ENW21416 is sourced and quoted to order against an RFQ. Submit a request through this listing; availability and current pricing are confirmed at quote time.

What is ENW21416's listed depth (75 mm) on this component line?

The depth is 75 mm. That dimension, along with the 55 mm width and 200 mm height, determines the drawout cradle fit within the EasyPact NW switchgear.

What is ENW21416's listed width (55 mm) on this component line?

The width is 55 mm. This is the panel-face dimension for the drawout control unit.
