What this trip unit does
The ENW21432 is a microprocessor-based control unit for the EasyPact NW range of drawout air circuit breakers. It provides LI protection — long-time overload and instantaneous short-circuit — with a trip unit rating adjustable from 800 A to 4000 A. The digital display shows energy metering and fault indication for overload, short-circuit, earth fault, and internal faults.
Protection and adjustment
Long-time pickup (Ir) is adjustable from 0.4 to 1.0 x In across 9 settings. The long-time delay (Tr) ranges from 0.5 to 24 seconds at 6 x Ir, with an accuracy of 0 to -20%. Instantaneous pickup (Ii) adjusts from 1.5 to 10 x Ir, also with 9 settings and ±10% accuracy. Zone selective interlocking (ZSI) is included for faster fault clearing in coordinated systems.
Mounting and configuration
This control unit mounts fixed to the EasyPact NW breaker frame. Physical dimensions are 75 mm deep, 55 mm wide, and 200 mm tall. Neutral protection is configurable: no protection (3D), 0.5 x Ir (3D+N/2), or 1 x Ir (4D). Protected poles can be set to 3D, 4D, or 3D+N/2. Neutral position is left.
