Trip unit for EasyPact NW — Trip System 5.0E, 800–4000 A
The Schneider Electric ENW21436 is a microprocessor-based control unit for the EasyPact NW range of drawout circuit breakers. It carries the Trip System 5.0E designation and is rated for an 800 to 4000 A trip unit setting, with a rated operational voltage of 690 V AC at 50/60 Hz per IEC 60947-2. Protection functions are LSI: overload (long-time), short-time short-circuit, and instantaneous short-circuit. The long-time pickup adjusts from 0.4 to 1 x In across nine settings, with a delay range of 0.5 to 24 seconds at 6 x Ir. Short-time pickup adjusts from 1.5 to 10 x Ir over nine settings, with delays from 100 to 400 ms. Instantaneous pickup adjusts from 2 to 15 x In, also over nine settings, with an Off position available. Zone selective interlocking (ZSI) is included, allowing coordination between downstream and upstream breakers to clear faults faster while maintaining selectivity. Fault indication covers internal fault, overload, short-circuit, and earth fault.
Integration and configuration
The unit mounts fixed in the EasyPact NW drawout cradle. Neutral protection is configurable: 3D (no protection), 3D + N/2 (0.5 x Ir), or 4D (1 x Ir). The neutral conductor is on the left side. Poles are 4P or 3P, with protected poles selectable as 4D, 3D + N/2, or 3D.
