The ENW21517 is a closing coil for Schneider Electric's EasyPact NW range of drawout air circuit breakers. It is electrically operated with a maintained control signal at 24/30 V DC and 4.5 W / 4.5 VA holding power.
Drawout mounting and panel integration
Drawout mounting means this coil is designed for the EasyPac NW breaker's cassette — it slides into the breaker frame, not bolted to a panel. That's the standard for switchgear where you need to rack the breaker out for maintenance without disturbing the control wiring. The coil itself is a field-replaceable component inside the breaker mechanism; if the coil fails, you swap this part, not the whole breaker. Keep the drawout cassette rails clean and lubricated per the breaker's maintenance schedule — a sticky racking mechanism can bind the coil's travel.
The 24/30 V DC control voltage is a dual-range rating — the coil operates reliably anywhere in that band. The maintained control signal type means the coil stays energized as long as the close command is held.
