Closing coil for EasyPact NW — 48/60 VDC, electrically operated
The ENW21526 is a closing coil for the Schneider Electric EasyPact NW range — a fixed-mount, electrically operated coil (XF device short name) that draws and holds the main contacts closed on maintained control signals. Control circuit voltage is 48/60 V DC, with a holding power draw of 4.5 W / 4.5 VA.
The 48/60 V DC control voltage is a dual-range coil — it operates on either nominal, so a 48 VDC control supply or a 60 VDC battery-backed bus both work without a separate dropping resistor. The 4.5 W / 4.5 VA holding power is low enough that a standard 24 VDC pilot-device transformer with a rectifier can supply it, but confirm the inrush at pickup if the coil is cycled frequently — the holding figure is steady-state, not peak pull-in. The electrically operated, maintained control type means the coil stays energized to keep the breaker closed; a loss of control power drops the breaker open (trip-free mechanism).
Integration into the EasyPact NW breaker
This is a fixed-mount accessory for the EasyPact NW air circuit breaker family. It installs into the breaker's mechanism housing; no DIN-rail or panel cutout required — it's internal to the breaker chassis. The XF designation indicates the closing-coil variant, distinct from the MX shunt trip or MCH motor-mechanism coils in the same range. Verify breaker frame compatibility: the EasyPact NW covers NW08 through NW63 frames; the coil's mechanical interface is common across the range, but the control-wire routing differs between draw-out and fixed versions.
