EasyPact NW coil for drawout breakers — what you need to know
The Schneider Electric ENW21532 is a replacement coil for the EasyPact NW range, designed for electrically operated drawout circuit breakers using a maintained control signal at 110/130 V AC 50/60 Hz. This is the MX shunt trip, XF close, or MCH motor-charging coil variant — the part that actually fires the mechanism in remote-operated NW frames. Drawout mounting means it slides into the breaker cradle, not hard-wired to the chassis; you pull the breaker to racked-out position, swap the coil, and slide it back in without disturbing the power wiring.
The 110/130 V AC 50/60 Hz control circuit voltage means this coil is designed for standard panel control transformers — not 24 V DC, not 220 V AC. If your NW breaker has a 24 V DC control scheme, this coil will not pull in. The maintained signal type means the control voltage must stay applied to hold the coil energized; momentary-pulse trip coils (MX) on some breakers use a different coil variant. Verify your breaker's wiring diagram: if the existing coil is marked MX, XF, or MCH and runs on 110-130 V AC, this is the direct drop-in.
