What the 2000 A rating means for your switchboard
The ENW22321 is a 4-pole chassis from the EasyPact NW range, rated 2000 A at 40 °C. That continuous current rating governs the busbar and cable sizing upstream — at full load, the drawout cassette and fixed contacts are designed for that thermal duty without derating in a 40 °C ambient.
Drawout mounting — serviceability without a shutdown
Drawout mounting means the moving portion (the cassette carrying the main contacts and arc chutes) can be racked out for inspection, maintenance, or replacement without unbolting busbars or de-energizing the entire switchboard — provided the upstream isolation is properly sequenced. The fixed portion stays wired to the bus. This is standard for high-current air circuit breakers where downtime for a contact inspection costs more than the gear itself. The 560 mm depth and 400 mm width fit standard low-voltage switchgear cubicle compartments; verify the panel cutout against the manufacturer's drilling plan before committing the BOM.
