Switch disconnector for high-current distribution
The Schneider Electric ENW24211 is a fixed-mount switch disconnector from the EasyPact NW range, rated for 3200 A in AC-23A duty at 690 V AC. That AC-23A utilisation category covers switching of motor loads and other highly inductive circuits — it is not a general-purpose load-break switch; the 3200 A figure applies specifically to motor switching, not resistive heating. Rated insulation voltage is 1000 V AC, with an impulse withstand of 12 kV per IEC 60947-3. Short-time withstand current is 66 kA for 1 s and 36 kA for 3 s, giving selectivity headroom for downstream breakers in a distribution board. The making capacity (Icm) is 143 kA peak, which covers the worst-case asymmetrical fault current on a 50/60 Hz system.
Fixed mounting on a base plate; rear connection with a horizontal or vertical orientation. The 422 mm width × 352 mm height × 297 mm depth footprint fits into standard low-voltage switchgear cubicles. Connection pitch is 115 mm without spreader — verify busbar drilling pattern against that dimension.
