The Schneider Electric EZ9F34320 is a 3-pole Easy9 miniature circuit breaker rated 20 A with a C-curve trip characteristic (5–10 × In magnetic trip). Breaking capacity is 4.5 kA at both 230 V and 400 V AC, 50/60 Hz, per IEC 60898-1. The impulse withstand voltage is 4 kV, which covers standard overvoltage category II/III conditions in a panel.
At 54 mm wide (three 18 mm modules, 9 mm pitch × 6), it occupies three adjacent slots. Depth is 66.5 mm, height 81 mm, so it clears most shallow enclosures. Terminals accept 1–25 mm² rigid or 1–16 mm² flexible copper, with a tightening torque of 2 N·m. That's enough for a 20 A circuit using 4 mm² or 6 mm² conductors — common for lighting or small power distribution. The part is tropicalised (class 2) for humid storage up to 95% RH at 25–60 °C, so it won't corrode in a warehouse.
Standards and documentation
Designed and tested to IEC 60898-1 for overcurrent protection. Isolation suitability is confirmed per the same standard. Mechanical endurance is 10,000 cycles, electrical 4,000 cycles — typical for a residential-grade MCB.
