The Schneider Electric EZB250W04 is a 250 A, 4-way EasyPact busbar designed for panel distribution in low-voltage switchgear assemblies built to IEC 60439. It connects up to twelve single-pole devices or four three-pole devices from a single feed point, consolidating the main power distribution in a compact footprint — 416 mm wide by 268.5 mm deep by 82.5 mm high.
Schneider has marked the EZB250W04 as obsolete. No last-time-buy window remains open from the factory.
The 250 A rated current (In) governs the main bus capacity — this bar feeds a 250 A busway or panel section without exceeding its continuous thermal limit. The 690 V rated insulation voltage (Ui) and 550 V rated operational voltage (Ue) at 50/60 Hz cover standard 400/480 V distribution networks with headroom for lightly loaded 690 V systems. The 30 kA short-time withstand rating (Icw) for 1 second means the bar can pass a fault current of that magnitude long enough for an upstream protective device to clear it, provided the fault level at the bus does not exceed 30 kA.
The busbar is supplied without a busbar extension — plan for separate tap-off or extension bars if the distribution requires feeding downstream sections. The 416 mm width fits standard 600 mm wide enclosures with room for side cable ducts. Mounting is via the device's own fixing points; no DIN-rail adapter is needed because the bar bolts directly to the device terminals. The 82.5 mm depth keeps the bar within the wiring space of a typical 200 mm deep enclosure.
