Busbar for EasyPact distribution panels
The Schneider Electric EZB400W10 is a 400 A busbar from the EasyPact range, designed for 10-way distribution in low-voltage switchboards built to IEC 60439. It accepts up to ten 3-pole devices, fourteen 2-pole, or thirty 1-pole units — the 416 mm width and 515 mm height fit standard EasyPact enclosures, with a 107 mm depth that leaves clearance for cable entry below the busbar.
Rated 400 A continuous — that's the busbar's thermal current limit; downstream breakers or switch-disconnectors must be coordinated so the sum of their ratings does not exceed this figure. The 690 V insulation voltage (Ui) sets the maximum voltage the busbar can withstand between phases and to earth; the 550 V operational voltage (Ue) is the working limit for the connected circuit. Short-time withstand current (Icw) of 40 kA for 1 second means the busbar can survive a bolted fault of that magnitude without mechanical damage or conductor annealing — critical for selectivity studies and SCCR compliance in the panel.
This part is marked obsolete by Schneider Electric. If you are designing a new panel, the EasyPact range still offers active busbar variants; check the 400 A class with the same 10-way footprint for a form-fit-function match.
