The Schneider Electric EasyPact EZB630W08 is an 8-way busbar rated for 630 A continuous current, with a 690 V AC 50/60 Hz insulation voltage and 550 V AC operational voltage. It carries a 40 kA short-time withstand rating for 1 second, built to IEC 60439. This is the main power distribution spine for a panel — sized for a 630 A incoming feed, splitting to up to 12 two-pole or 24 single-pole devices, or 8 three-pole units.
The 8-way configuration (with 2- or 4-way busbar extension capability) determines how many branch devices can tap off the bus — 12 two-pole, 24 single-pole, or 8 three-pole breakers.
Panel Integration
Mounts inside a distribution panel or switchboard enclosure. Dimensions are 416 mm wide by 440 mm high by 107 mm deep — a substantial footprint that needs a backplate or mounting bracket sized to clear the busbar ends and maintain phase-to-phase and phase-to-ground clearances per IEC 60439. The 107 mm depth is the busbar body only; add clearance for incoming cable lugs or busbar trunking connections at each end.
