The Schneider Electric EZC100H2063 is a 2-pole EasyPact EZC100H moulded-case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated 63 A at 40 °C, with a thermal-magnetic TM-D trip unit that provides overload and short-circuit protection in one package. It is a Category A breaker (no intentional short-time delay), sized for distribution panels and feeder circuits where you need a compact, fixed-mount device with front connections. The 63 A rating at 50 °C and 63 A at 40 °C mean the trip unit is calibrated for continuous current at those ambient temperatures — derate above 50 °C per the thermal curve. The TM-D trip is a fixed thermal-magnetic design; you don't swap rating plugs, you select the breaker for the load.
Breaking capacity — what the H code means
The H breaking capacity code delivers 30 kA Icu at 380…400 V AC and 50 kA Icu at 220…240 V AC. At 440 V AC it holds 20 kA Icu. At 125 V DC single-pole it still clears 10 kA, useful for battery or rectifier circuits. The 100 kA Icu at 110…130 V AC is a high-interrupting rating for low-voltage, high-fault-current scenarios — think large step-down transformers or UPS bypass circuits.
Fixed backplate mount with front connections — the breaker bolts to a panel backplate, and cables land on the front terminals. Connection pitch is 25 mm, which matches standard busbar or cable-lug spacing for 63 A class. The IP20 finger-safe enclosure and IK07 impact resistance mean it survives handling in a panel environment without enclosure damage. Pollution degree 3 per IEC 60947 — rated for conductive pollution in industrial enclosures where occasional condensation occurs. That is the default for most control panels; no special conformal coating needed.
