Specification and Compliance
The Schneider Electric EZC100H4045 is a 4-pole moulded-case circuit breaker from the EasyPact EZC100H series, rated at 45 A at 40 °C (trip unit rating 45 A at 50 °C) and built for distribution applications. It uses a thermal-magnetic TM-D trip unit for overload and short-circuit protection, with a toggle control and positive contact indication for local signalling. Per the specification, the breaker is fully compliant with EN/IEC 60947-2, GB/T 14048.2, and JIS C8201-2-2, and is certified for isolation purposes per IEC 60947-2. The breaking capacity (Icu) varies by voltage: 100 kA at 110-130 V AC, 50 kA at 220-240 V AC, 30 kA at 380-400 V AC and 415 V AC, 20 kA at 440 V AC, and 10 kA at 550 V AC and at 125 V DC (1P) or 250 V DC (2P). This H breaking capacity code indicates high-interrupting performance for the frame size.
This MCCB is designed for fixed mounting on a backplate, with front connections on both the line and load sides. The connection pitch is 25 mm. Panel cut-out dimensions are defined by the width (100 mm), height (130 mm), and depth (60 mm). IP20 finger protection is provided on the front face; the enclosure rating IK07 per EN 50102 offers impact resistance. The 4-pole configuration protects three phases (3t) with no neutral protection. It is rated for category A utilization (not intended for frequent switching of motors under load) and is suitable for isolation, meaning it can be used as a disconnecting means in a distribution panel.
No official successor has been announced; the EasyPact EZC100H series remains the current offering in this frame size.
