The Schneider Electric EZC100N1045 is a 1-pole EasyPact EZC100N circuit breaker with a thermal-magnetic TM-D trip unit rated 45 A at 50 °C. That 45 A rating governs the continuous load it can carry without tripping on thermal overload — sized for a distribution subfeed or a moderate motor branch circuit. The breaking capacity code N delivers 25 kA Icu at 110–130 V AC and 18 kA at 220–240 V AC, which means it safely interrupts fault currents up to those levels without welding contacts or cascading upstream. At 380–400 V AC the Icu drops to 2.5 kA, so verify the available fault current at the point of installation — this breaker is not a high-SCCR choice for 400 V three-phase panels.
Deployment context
Mounts fixed to a backplate with front-connect wiring — no DIN-rail clip, so plan for panel cutouts and screw-down termination. The 25 mm width per pole keeps the footprint tight in a multi-pole group.
Certified to EN/IEC 60947-1, EN/IEC 60947-2, GB/T 14048.2, and JIS C8201-2-2. Rated insulation voltage 690 V AC, operational voltage 125 V DC or 415 V AC. Suitability for isolation confirmed per IEC 60947-2 — can be used as a disconnecting means with positive contact indication.
