Panel fit and protection profile
The Schneider Electric EZC100N1080 is an EasyPact EZC100N circuit breaker — a 1-pole, 80 A thermal-magnetic unit with a TM-D trip curve, sized for distribution panels where a single-phase or DC branch needs short-circuit and overload protection. The 25 mm width per pole keeps the DIN-rail fill factor tight; at 80 A rated current (40 °C ambient, derated to 80 A at 50 °C), it covers feeder and subfeeder duty in a 415 V AC or 125 V DC system. Breaking capacity hits 25 kA Icu at 110-130 V AC, dropping to 18 kA at 220-240 V AC and 2.5 kA at 400-415 V AC — so the upstream fault current available at the panelboard determines which voltage tap you can land it on.
