The Schneider Electric EZC100N3100 is a 3-pole EasyPact EZC100N moulded-case circuit breaker (MCCB) with a thermal-magnetic TM-D trip unit rated 100 A at 50 °C. At 400–415 V the interrupting rating rises to 15 kA Icu, and at 380 V it reaches 18 kA Icu. For DC applications, it interrupts 5 kA Icu at 125 V DC (1-pole) or 250 V DC (2-pole).
This MCCB is a fixed-mount, backplate-supported device with front-front connections (line and load both terminate on the front face). The toggle actuator provides positive contact indication, so you can visually confirm the contact position without removing the cover. IP20 finger protection and IK07 impact resistance suit it for enclosure mounting where incidental contact is possible but washdown or dust ingress is not expected.
Protection and compliance
The EZC100N3100 provides short-circuit and overload protection for distribution circuits. It is Category A (no intentional short-time delay), meaning it trips instantaneously on a fault — suitable for feeder protection where selectivity is achieved upstream. Standards compliance includes EN/IEC 60947-1, EN/IEC 60947-2, GB/T 14048.2, and JIS C8201-2-2.
